Prudential Great Lakes Realty is now a member of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Michigan Real Estate Team!
Looking for Prudential Great Lakes Realty? We have some exciting news to share. In February 2014, Prudential Great Lakes Realty proudly joined the Berkshire Hathaway family, as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Michigan Real Estate. The excellent real estate service we have been recognized for across eastern Michigan has in fact grown stronger.
Dedicating our business to a consultative approach in real estate, helping our clients maximize the largest investment their families will make is the mission of our REALTORS. Integrating superior expertise and professional service among REALTORS, we combine technology and buyer focused marketing to ensure real estate success.
Prudential Great Lakes Realty traces its origins back to Dan Stiel, part of the Prudential Real Estate family for over 20 years. Stiel met and worked with Steve Fase, a fellow Broker Owner of Prudential Preferred, REALTORS. For several years Stiel and Fase discussed sharing the Prudential Great Lakes names, or perhaps merging companies. In 2012, Fase purchased Prudential Great Lakes from Stiel's family, and promoted Mike Doherty to General Manager of the Eastern Region.
After integrating Prudential Great Lakes into the Prudential Preferred, REALTORS Family of Companies, the region has seen tremendous growth. "This is a market that is turning around," said Fase. "We have great people, great agents. I've learned through other offices in small communities that if you can bring a good product in a small market, and pick up the right people, it can be more gratifying and successfully than flashy markets."
The introduction of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices strength to the region has been hugely successfully. "It's a company with a growth culture and vision. It's ripe for a new name and new energy," Fase said. The success of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Michigan Real Estate transition in the Prudential Great Lakes Realty footprint demonstrates further that if you have something to bring, you are going to be able to grow, Fase explained.
"Culture, leadership, support and teamwork is something that we do really well, and these are characteristics that draw our agents and our clients," he said. "The people that Dan assembled have appreciated us. And to keep a company of people that like each other together--it was good to do, and together we have new life in the region."
